REVIEW OF WANTED DESIGN MANHATTAN
Every year in May New York City celebrates its rich design culture with NYCxDESIGN. There are exhibitions, public installations, parties, open studios, trade shows, panel discussions, and much more. Within this frame Wanted Design is one of the favored events. Here is a review/critique of the Manhattan show in which I pose questions regarding the relevance of luxury design in our current context, the values that we as design community hold dear and how this show might have the power to reshape our design culture for the better.
SVA DESIGN RESEARCH COLLECTION
In summer 2017 I took the Design Research, Writing & Criticism summer intensive program at the School of Visual Arts, in New York City. I still don't know how I manage to write in just two short weeks a monologue, dialogue, digital artifact article, two object reviews, a profile interview, exhibition review, personal essay, a manifesto and visit a couple of studios over the city. Here you can find some of these pieces.
